Earlier we had shared about some sites which provided the best photo effects online in one click. ImageChef is another very similar service, which is more concentrated on the text effects and frames.

The catalogue is quite good with a large inventory. One can even use them for visual poetry.
Overall a ImageChef is a nice service truly worth a look.
Here is a nice 3 column fluid theme for Tumblr (yeah, I am currently using it too :P).
The original Graph Paper Theme was created by Heather. I decided to add up a sidebar for some extra features. Some changes brought about are:
So you are free to use it and distribute it as you wish. The original version was released on 14 April 2008 under Creative Commons.
Basically, share derivative work, don’t make money off it, and give credit. Otherwise, you’re free to use and modify it however you want! Unported, so use it anywhere.
Do give your feedback. In case of any problem, discuss it here or contact me at: pratyush [at] fully-faltoo.com .

PhotoFunia is addictive and fun. It offers more than 50 photo-effects at a mouse click. You can be anything you wished to be, a celebrity, with your photo on billboards or on top of the magazine covers.
Though there are other similar services too like Dumpr but none are as good as PhotoFunia. The imaginations are endless and the inventory is continuously increasing. Apart from this, PhotoFunia also offers some effects using face-detection technology which morphs your photo very well with the action heroes or the celebrities.
Give it a try, and amaze your friends :D | PhotoFunia | Dumpr | JeetBlog

Today, over at SimpleHelp, I discovered a cool new desktop enhancement software called 360desktop.
360desktop is an amazing application that allows one to create a 3D Desktop Panoramic Workspace…
Windows Vista has got a neat feature where it displays graphically the amount of free space in your drives icon. Windows XP lacks this feature but the good news is that this can be done in Windows XP if you install the freeware application called Vista Drive Icon.
Once you install this software then you will be able to see the icons in Windows XP to be like Vista.
Smashing Magazines has some beautiful wallpapers with the calendar of the month of June 2008 on them. These are as usual available in various sizes. So get ready to give your desktop a new look:
Successful product design manages to reveal useful functionality beyond its appealing form. No matter how excellent a design looks like, most customers aren’t likely to spend money on something they won’t be able to use. On the other hand, most people are likely to buy something useful despite the design it has.
Bracelet Watch
The idea for this watch is classic plastic bracelet, with incorporated lines inside the watch that show the current time. Those three lines are rotating around the watch and show the time, while the seconds line is going around all the time. It is a simple concept, atractive and eye-catching. Adjusting the clock is easy as the watch is the touchscreen. All you have to do is to touche the line, click the adjust icon and slide current time line to correct time. Design by Djordje Zivanovic.
Rocking Wheel Chair
A concept and a modern interpretation of a rocking chair. The near circular form seen from the side is what makes the design unique. It allows for the rocking motion without being an attachment, but instead flowing into the rest of the chair. The upper part features a light source, which can be used as a reading light.
A mathematical explanation on how logos came about. :D Funny stuff. More of these at LogoLogos.

So the weekend is here, its time to rock, its the time for fun, its the time to be social :) .
So here are the best of “everything” that I found useful throughout the week.
Softwares:
1) Jing
Screenshots are the arms to the posts of a Blogger, and Jing does that job perfectly. It offers enough options from recording videos to capturing images and sharing them online. For more details, plese check out their “Video tour”.
2) QTTabBar

QTTabBar is good for Vista and a must for XP. Apart from the tabbed exploring the other features that I like are:
XP users might also like to download Xentient Thumbnails with it which replaces the generic icons of image files with thumbnail icons of the actual image just like in Vista.

Blogs:
1) The Best Page In The Universe
A web page by Maddox. He describes his site the best “This page is about me and why everything I like is great. If you disagree with anything you find on this page, you are wrong.”2) Blogote
The blog is all about Internet, Technology and Blogging. What I like about it is the good selection of articles. The articles are really useful and different from others. It is new and would provide a good competition to other “Internet and Technology” blogs.
I have been following this blog for a long time and it is good to see it active again. The blog is about the “Tips and Tricks”. It will tell you how to use an incompatible pen drive for ready boost in Vista or how to Play DivX/Xvid/MP3 on your Playstation 2.
4) Post Secret
“PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard.” It is real fun to read these messages on the weekend.
